July in Florida is usually a storm filled. The storms stayed away for me just long enough to allow me to get a few shots from a great state park.
Check out the story and images here.
A near death experience with lightning caps this stormy weekend off at Lovers Key State Park. I drove 5 hours total to get about 30 minutes of shooting time in. Yeah, That sounds about right.
Rainstorms and a hard closing time had me running through this park barefoot on a shell pathway. The first day of Summer left me breathless at Robinson Preserve in Bradenton.
Fred Howard park is in Tarpon Springs and provides photographers some excellent opportunity's to get some great shots. Check out what I got when I visited one of my favorite parks.

I took a stroll along the Hillsborough River today. Alligators, Deer, Hawks and a great sunrise greeted me at the park. Check out the photographs and story here.

Today was the closest the Moon was going to be to earth for the next 20 years. I wanted to capture this event, but had to do it first thing in the morning. Redington Pier was my subject. A great moon set and a beautiful sunrise greeted me.
I battled weather and traffic to photograph Blue Spring State Park. This is a great park and a good way to end a frustrating journey. Check out what I got out of Blue Spring.
